Hello, I’m Jo-Anna

Hello and welcome! I'm Jo-Anna, a Lancashire-born, Yorkshire-bred photographer with an obsession with capturing and preserving precious memories.

I share my life with my amazing boyfriend, Aaron, and our beloved furbaby, Paddy (who goes by many names, including Paddoo and Lord Paddy of all the Cats). Together, we love embarking on adventures - Paddy might be limited to our garden, but his wild appearances tell me he loves exploring too! Our little micro camper, Beatrice, is our summer sanctuary, although I'm still figuring out how to bring Paddy along (yes, I'm that crazy cat lady).

When I’m not spending time with beautiful couples and families, you can find me exploring the breathtaking landscapes of the Peak District, the Lake District, and the North Yorkshire Moors. Or I'm hibernating at home, baking all kinds of tasty treats (if you’re lucky I might even share my oat and raisin cookie recipe).

Photography has been my lifelong hobby. Having recently discovered my stash of disposable and digital cameras (too many I care to admit) while clearing out my childhood bedroom, it has reignited my desire to share my passion with others. I've always been drawn to family photos, even from eras I didn't experience firsthand. My home (and phone album) now overflows with images I've captured over the years, a testament to my love for freezing cherished moments in time.

As a semi-professional people watcher, I have a keen eye for capturing candid, natural moments specialising in those authentic, unguarded interactions between loved ones. Whether it's documenting maternity journeys or newborns, to engagements and weddings, my aim is to encapsulate the uniqueness of you!
